Well if they include Europe, then they will be spending more than they are saving by NOT going to NAB. So that would defeat the whole purpose of the tour because they are spending their money more wisely be schlepping their team and equipment all over the world instead of letting the world come to them at NAB or IBC. Makes complete sense to me. As long as you hit most of the continents in the world, then it’s a “world tour.”

See us mere mortals are not supposed to fully understand all of this, we’re supposed to nod meekly and say “Oh yeah, I get it! Makes perfect sense when you look at it sideways standing on your left foot with a glass of red wine balanced on your head and a pint of ale in your right hand while standing on the new Apple Mighty Pad foot input device.”

See….. NOW doesn’t that look like a World Tour to you?

With the British Pound the Euro trouncing the Dollar, it’s not likely you’ll see Apple or many other Americans in the near future.

I used to love going to Europe. No more. Waaaaaay too expensive. Even Japan is cheaper, and that says a lot.

Diesel is so expensive now, i’m actually moving house to be nearer work so i don’t need to drive in. In the last 3 years the cost of filling my tank has risen from £45 to £65 and there seems no sign the trend is ever going to reverse!
If you come to visit, bring your own fuel!!!
