Final Cut Server….
We’re looking into possibilities for setting up our Production Office’s media server and I came across the announcements for Final Cut Server. Does anyone know more about this and what hardware you also need to run it. Like do I need a seperate MacPro or one of their Xserve RAIDs? I’m fairly new to building a server and want to know more about it before we end up making a decision. One of our co-workers is also considering the PX-1 ( https://www.focusinfo.com/solutions/px-1.asp ) But I prefer to keep all our stuff Apple if possible.
Any opionions? Suggestions? Tips etc…?
