    does anyone know how much ram i would need for my mac to edit a short film i shot on the panasonic hvx200p? i currently have 1gig, but am obviously thinking i would need a lot more since its hd footage. tnxs, eben

    Kinda depends on the Mac- what sort you got?

    g5 dual 2.0, with currently 4 256s

    That will work though you can never have too much RAM. 2GB would be better.
