Final Cut Pro7 Menus slow to appear.
Has anyone seen a problem with FCP7 where if you select a menu item you get the spinning cursor and the menus take 5 seconds or more to appear?
10.8.3 2012 2.3 i7 with 16 gigs ram. stock 5400 rpm 1 tb drive.
Installed FCP X and started motion 4 and FCP 7 before I ran FCPX and followed all other steps to run both on the same partition.
I’ve use FCP remover and completely reinstalled but it makes no difference. -

Could never find a reason for the problem. As I looked through the console logs there were errors as FCP looked for resources. Reinstall of OSX seems to have cleaned up the issue.
