final cut pro x external video
hi i was transfering my videos via external video option on final cut pro 7 which was under view -external video – all frames through firewire . But there is no this option on final cut pro x. does anybody know the solution thanks

It doesn’t exist yet. I export a QuickTime movie from X and drop it onto a timeline in FCP7 to put video out to tape.
It’s an extra step, but next year they promised output to a broadcast monitor which should also let us output to tape.
