Final Cut Pro wont open. Unexpectedly quitting on launch.
My FCP HD 4.5 will not open. I used it just yesterday and now for what ever reason it is unexpectedly quitting on launch. i have an important project due on Friday. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trash your preferences.
User>Library>Preferences>Final Cut Pro User Data>Final Cut Pro 5.0 Prefs
Go ahead and trash the other 2 files too. (Obj cache, Prof cache)
See if that helps. FCP will re-create these files when you open the application if they are not in that folder, so it is an effective way to “re-start” to “factory” settings.
