Final Cut Pro to Cubase: Cubase doesn’t support 23.98
Hello dear CreativeCOWers, I am a new member in the forum although i’ve been reading it two years now and it’s been extremely helpful. It’s the first time that i haven’t found a satisfying solution in related post so I decided to post my problem.
I’ve edited a movie in Final cut pro, my sequence preset is Apple ProRes 1920*1080 24fps with sound at 23.976. I have synchronized audio recorded with fostex to my video clips (wav files) and i want my sound editor to be able to see those edit points, so i exported an omf file. She uses Cubase and can import the omf file but Cubase can only work at 24fps so everything is out of sync. What can we do about that? I read something about 29.97 but i’m not sure it can work smoothly. Is the only solution changing the sound editing program? Any suggestions for sound editing programs that support 23.98?

IT would be VERY wise to audio mix at 23.98.
ProTools, Logic, Soundtrack Pro, Adobe Audition…all do 23.98
