    I was thinking of something
when we editing the DV material and our workspace is selected to be DV PAL (example), and when we are applying the effects and color correction logically we will increase the data rate of material so what is happening, by selecting the workspace are we putting the limit of data rate and any additional work that we do will not jump of the DV quality or not?

    thanks

Well if I understand your post, when you render DV it is recompressed to DV again which is a bit of a loss, but it has to go down about 5 generations before you’d notice it much. One render = one generation loss.
