    Hi!
Does anyone know if there is a scene detection plugin available for FCP?
We need this information when exporting the project to Final Touch HD, so as you might imagine, the built-in DV scene detection will not suffice.
I know there is a program callled HD Log, but I was hoping for a plug-in?

Export XML, then Final Touch will see all the individual clips.

By scene detection, do you mean detecting cuts in a finished scene taken from tape or a quicktime file, consisting of multiple cuts within one composite sequence? If so, I don’t believe there is such a plug-in for Final Cut. I know some editing systems can recognize cuts based on abrupt changes from one frame to another, mostly consumer video programs and video library software, but I am not aware of any professional plug-ins.

No such feature in Final Touch HD? And what do you think of this software so far? After testing it, my opinion is that it’s still in beta stage!
