Final Cut Pro not sending out of aja???
Setup: Final Cut Pro 5.04, AJA ProIO Version 1.0.0
Final Cut Pro is not sending any output through to the preview monitor from a sequence. Audio plays fine, and when capturing (Beta Deck sent through AJA), it previews just fine (both on an input from the Beta & the AJA Input)…..
it had been working fine, but decided to stop working today 🙂
Do i need to update? if so how (i’m not aja savvy, and need guidance)
Oh yeah, After Effects runs just fine through the AJA for preview purposes…….so maybe its just FCP?

Try setting your canvas and viewer to Fit to Window.

The drivers are up to version 2.1

download those and install and make sure you install the firmware update too.

please tell me exactly what EASY SETUP you have selected in FCP for the AJA I/O. This will help determine what you are looking at. If you have not done so, please pick something for now, like Betacam 8 bit uncompressed. Bring up internal color bars. Do you see color bars now? Are you monitoring directly out of the AJA I/O, or thru a VTR ?
