    Hi,
    Sorry for the caps!

    I’m using Final Cut Pro 5.1.3 on a Mac Pro 2 x 2,66 Ghz Dual Core, 3GB 667 Mhz DDR2 F8B-DIMM, and a Lacie 500GB Firewire Hard drive.

The scratch is on the hard drive, as is the project file. When i play back in the sequence i get a digital error in the canvas that looks like random mini blocks of colour, kind of like pacman!!!
Seems to be a video throughput problem? Everything was fine throughout the editing process, it just screwed up just as i was about to finish.
Final Cut has also crashed on me as well.

Any advice or help would be great.
    Thanks

Do they show up in exactly the same place and exactly the same time?

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

Also, what type of footage is it? Is it consistently throughout the project or just on certain clips?
