    Hello,

I seem to have lost all communication between My Final Cut Pro and my AJA io box. I cant seem to capture anything. All my presets are all correct and all cables are connected. My AJA ProIO Control Panel also tells me I have Video Present but Final Cut wont pick anything else up. I had a similar problem when I downloaded the last apple OSX update and did download an update a few days ago. Can anybody help?

    Without info on your system

    check 3 things first.

    1) that you have no other FW devices attached, the Io wants the entire FW bus.

    2) that you have uninstalled then reinstalled the ioDriver.
    3) checked to make sure that your easy set up is correct.

    Hello,

Thanks for the pointers. I have done everything you have suggested but I still not having any luck.

I have recently updated to OSX 10.4.10 and also updated quicktime to 7.2. Do you think this could be something to do with the problem?

I don’t have an iO, but my AJA Kona LH sometimes goes away, about every two months or so, when this happens I just unplug everything and put it all back, and also repair permissions and run Disk Warrior on everything. Seems to work…

    Have a wonderful day.
