    Hi,

I’m using Final Cut Pro HD 4.5 on a dual 1.8 G5 running 10.4.11. I can’t get FCP to launch. I’ve used FCP quite a bit in the past, but it has been a while since I’ve needed it.

Every time I try to launch it, it crashes at the same spot. Shortly after I click on the icon to run the program, it gets to a “Loading Audio Filters” when it crashes. It always crashes when it is loading a third party audio plug-in called MX400 Surround. The plug-in is for a Lexicon reverb that I use in audio production. It’s a fairly new plug-in, compared to my version of FCP which is getting pretty old. I don’t think I’ve used FCP since I loaded this new plug-in, so I imagine the two pieces of software are having a conflict.

I feel like I should uninstall all of the Lexicon software on this machine, but I’m not sure how to do this. Does anyone know what to do?

    All advice appreciated.

    Thanks

    Sam,
Is very easy to check if is the plugin which is causing you the troubles.
Uninstall it and try to open FC.
The plugin must have come with some info regarding System specs.

Mine does the same thing… and i haven’t figured out how to fix that. Is there a way to delete the audio filters?
