Final Cut Pro Exporting Problem, Distorting Lines
Hello everyone. I exported a few different videos using Quicktime Conversion on Final Cut Pro and when I play it back on Quicktime and DVD, the footage gets distored by horizontal lines of some sort whenever the camera moves or if there’s a lot of action in the shot. However, this has all happened since I stared getting footage directly from my Sony CX100 Handycam. What I’ve done recently was import the clips into an iMovie Event(folder). And instead of exporting the imovie footage to quicktime, I took the footage right from the imovie event folder and used it in Final Cut Pro. I figured that would save me some time.
Now, I am aware of the Log and Transfer feature on Final Cut Studio, and I’ve used it before. The problem with that is, whenever Final Cut is transfering any clips from my camera longer than about 2 or three minutes, it will have an error and becomes ‘idol’. I have no idea what that’s all about. Anybody know what’s going on?
