  • FINAL CUT PRO Crashing at Audio Filters…

Posted by Sherri Moore on August 18, 2009 at 12:20 am

I’m having a huge problem with my final cut pro program. I’ve tried many things from deleting my preferences to…. oh who knows what. Currently every time i boot up my program is loads everything, pretty much but then stops at audio filters – does not respond – and then crashes.

Is there a way that I can delete the audio filters and select a few to reload? or is there a better way of going about this problem? I need it up and running quickly!

ANY Suggestions as to what I should do???

Does this happen with a particular project or any project?

Sounds like you might have to reinstall FCP.

Exactly same problem; tried repairing permissions, deleting prefs, etc.. Crashes on audio filters (line 6, gearbox).
Was working fine ’til I repaired permissions last month. Any answers?
