Final cut pro black screen
I am new to Final cut pro 6.06, i have gone somewhere i should not, i now open the software and i have a full black screen, with the header dropped, only opening when i scroll over it, how to i override this and get back to my other screens within the package.

you will make other mistakes in the process of learning FCP.
One easy way of getting back to point zero is to simply close your project, and open up a new project. If it still doesn’t work, close FCP, and TRASH your FCP preferences. This will restore FCP to its default configuration, like when it was first installed.BobZelin

sounds a bit like you are “presenting” your video to the desktop.
Apple F12 will toggle that on AND off.
(and look under your View Menu for that, too…. not to mention the manual)am i having déjà vu or did i just answer this???
