Hi – I have an urgent issue that I could really do with some help with – any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a file in FCP that I have exported, compressed and burnt many times. Now when I export, the audio is removed in parts. This is in only certain parts, not the whole audio track. The audio is fine in both FCP and an exported Quick Time. I am using compressor – DVD settings, MPEG2 and Audio. Thanking you Sam

    Hi Dave,

Thanks so much for getting back to me. What if the audio does not work in the Quicktime? Or, as is currently occurring the audio works in the Quicktime file on the computer, however after processing through compressor and the DVD parts do not?

    Cheers
    Sam

    Hi Dave

Thanks for your help, rendered and exported self contained quick time. The audio worked when I played on the computer. Sending it through compressor now – fingers crossed!

If this works – a “virtual big hug” coming your way.

    Cheers
    Sam

    Hi Dave,

I would have sworn that I had rendered this file! I had done it a nubmer of times, however, did not hold down the OPT key with CMD+R$.

Thank you – problem solved. DVD burnt and playing well.

    Thank you
    Sam
