Final Cut Pro 7 window layout arrangement
Dear FCP community,
I am still using FCP7 since 10 years and am quite happy with it, but have run into the following problem situation:
Currently I am using three canvas windows together with their respective timelines in parallel.
I am saving this window layout under the respective tab giving it a unique name in order to be able to continue editing at a later session without having to rebuild the desired window layout manually again.
However, when reloading the saved window layout it only comes back with ONE canvas and ONE timeline (apart from the other standard parts).
After having studied the manuals and the internet with no success for a solution I have the suspicion that this is maybe not possible at all.
Anybody out there who knows better?

wow – strange behavior.
It has been awhile since I used FCP 7.
How about making some simple layouts and saving them
and seeing if they can restore?
where are these layouts stored? maybe the permissions in that folder are
set strange?
