Sure. Current driver already work with it but we need to put in some presets for the new codecs that the new version supports.

July 29, 2009 at 7:09 pmWill you have HD VANC support? The Apple FCP 7 literature states that it support captioning. AJA’s FCP 7 drivers state that they are supporting QuickTime Closed Captioning Track which is Apple’s defined standard
for closed captioning supportThanks,
Craig

July 29, 2009 at 10:32 pmWe are working on adding the embedded time code support.
The new codecs that Kris mentioned are the new ProRes codecs.
Sincerely,
Joshua

July 30, 2009 at 5:07 pmHi
I’ve been using FCP 7 and it seems to be working ok with Blackmagic’s current driver but what I’ve found it only likes extended desktop as soon as I change that all my rushes turn white. It was pretty scary for a while until I figured out what was causing it. So I hope a driver that cuts out this and any other bugs will be available soon
