FINAL CUT PRO 7 keeps crashing
Hi all,
I am freaking out. My FCP 7.0.3 has started crashing relentlessly. Before yesterday, I’ve never had a problem. I finished my project, exported to a .mov in DVD Studio Pro, and since then I can barely run FCP without it going down. Sometimes right when I start it up, and sometimes I can get it started doing what I need before it goes, but it ALWAYS goes. I cleared my drive with Disk Utility, I trashed my prefs, have plenty of memory, and I’ve been on the phone with Tech Support all day. So far nothing has worked. This project is done, and I CANNOT get it onto a disk.
I’m losing it, this project is critical to my our company and is due in two days, and I’ve been at this for hours with zero progress.
Please help me!?!

Steve, did anyone ever answer you about Final Cut 7 keeping on crashing? I am having the same problem. It has never happened before, now it happens practically as soon as I make my first edit. Please let me know if there were any solutions to cure this malady!! For some reason I was unable to find a thread on this with your post. Thanks so much.

Paying about 153$ (+-) to buy an App that fix a problem that should be fixed by Apple seems to me a little too much!
