Final Cut Pro 6.0.6
I am taking over a project that has been edited on FCP version 7 but only have FCP version 6.0.6 myself. Will I be able to import the version 7 project into my version 6.0.6 system?

No you cant open an FCP7 project in FCP6.
The only way to do this is to use XML – export from FCP7. You can then import the XML into FCP6.
