What is happening is this. I created a project and in the time line when viewing the project it is correct. When I go to make a .mov file there are clips that are not suppose to be there and there are clips that have the input and output wrong. For example: I watch the file on the timeline and it is correct in the viewer. When I goto make a .mov file the audio is off and so are the clips. Please help, project is due Monday. I have tried to copy and paste the project into a new project, I have restarted the computer, I have moved all the files to an external harddrive and tried another computer, no success. Please help.

FCP does this when you try to edit h.264 files. If I’m correct, you’ll have to transcode to ProRes and recut over your existing cut.

a quick fix could be to change your sequence’s settings to Prores, and render it,
    then export,

that might work, or it might not.
h264 is rather unpredictable in FCP7
