I’ve just started editing in Final Cut Pro 6, switched from 5.1.4
    Here’s my problem:

I was editing. My Cat jumped on the Keyboard, hit some sequence of buttons and now, When I move in the timeline Frame by Frame, I get no Audio playback. The Audio controls rest in the Red and I get no sound.

Can someone please help me fix this! I’m trying to edit to music and it’s making it almost impossible.

Shift-s turns scrubbing on and off.

Apple-f12 will refresh your video to all frames

Option-f12 will refresh your outgoing devices.

A good ole preferences trash will clear this up and reset everything to default as well.

Send your cat on an FCP course!

It appears the cat knows more keyboard commands than Mike. I hope the client doesn’t pick up on that…
