    Hello All,

I am having trouble changing the font in Final Cut Pro. When I go to the text screen the font is stuck on Lucida Grande.

We don’t have Apple support since we are a college unless we buy it. 🙁

But the guy did have me make a new user and it worked fine under the new user….but no luck with mine.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you all

Well if, when you click on the list of fonts, the only font listed is Lucida Grande, then you might need to install some new ones, or let FCP know where the font list is. Other than that, I’d suggest looking for another version of FCP to dl cause that’s a pretty stinky problem.

I didn’t mean buy FCS we own 18 copies. I meant buy FCS support.

    🙂

    Still having the problem.

    🙁

You’ve got to be MUCH more explicit; there are twenty different places to modify or select TEXT including the default size for the application interface. If creating a new user account enables the system fonts, you have some simple OS issues to fix.

Cross posting just wastes everyone’s time. Since you added some information to your thread over on apple.com, you’re starting to get some decent suggestions.

I have added a picture. This problem only happens in Final Cut Pro. All other applications are fine. I even re-installed FCP 6.

I just can’t figure this out.

    It’s weird to me.

    Thank you.

I didn’t know Creative Cow and Apple used the same forums.
