Hello, I’m new to this forum, as well as new to this camera. I am using Final Cut Pro 6 and the HVX200B with mini DV, not P2. I shot the footage at 480i 24p, but when I go to capture, problems come up. When going into my settings, in theory I have everything lined up to 23.98 fps, but the footage is still sub par. For the record, I’m acutally new to the entire setup. I’m totally comfortable with a DVX100B and Final Cut 5, but with this new set up, I’m lost.
If this seems too long to explain, I’d be happy with a link to the proper manuals to help myself.
    Thanks in advance, great site.

What is sub-par about it? Did you shoot in the Advanced Pulldown mode, 480pA24?
