I am having the same problem I have seen in other postings- see my audio in the meter and not hearing anything- I did turn external video setting to “off” as well as video playback to “none” and audio to “default”- any other ideas? The audio is there, I see the meter moving, I see the waveforms, I have checked it in quicktime, but it refuses to play in final cut pro. I am working on a Powerbook, Final Cut Pro 5.0, with a lacie drive attached, so not running through a deck. Maybe that’s the problem? Let me know any thoughts- thanks!
