Final Cut Pro 4 Fit to Window problem
hi,
fit to window option in both the view and the canvas is 77%, that is when I select ‘fit to window’ from the drop down menu, I am getting ‘77%’. I have closed and reopened the project and it’s still happening. Can you advise. I can’t work with this view.

What view do you want to work with? Do you need the Canvas to be bigger? Stretch it out by dragging between the windows to dynamically resize them.

Fito to window makes the video…. fit to the window!
As Tom says, resize the window to whatever you want. Try the preset screen layouts in the view menu. You will find that unless you use ‘fit to window’ you don’t get any output on your video out.
