FINAL CUT PRO 29 to 24 frame conversion problem!!!
Hello,
We are in the process of onlining a feature film and are running into some major issues. The problem we are experiencing is in the process of placing a 29.97 timeline/sequence into a 23.98 editing timebase. When we do this, footage appears in the 23.98 sequence but on almost every cut and edit both audio and video slip one or two frames OR gaps appear between cuts. The film itself is over an hour and half long with over 8 tracks of audio so we are looking for a solution that does not involve us spending days fine tuning everything back to sync. Has anyone encountered this issue? have any idea what is causing it? or have a possible solution. ANY advice is welcomed, we have to deliver the film in a matter of days.
Thanks for your help,
Chrischrs
