final cut p2 card help
I shot on the pannisonic 3000 on dvcpro50. I downloaded all the files to a hard drive. When i open up fcp 6, I am having trouble getting my footage imported. I am new to the p2 generation. I have no clue how to get my footage into the browser and start editing. Any help would be great. thanks

You may also want to check out Raylight for Mac. It enables you to import .mxf files into FCP more easily than log and transfer.

If you use RAYLIGHT or other third party direct MXF importers (Calibrated, MXF4QT) make SURE that you copy the card dumps onto your media drive. NEVER ever work with the original files. Back them up and put them on a shelf and work with copies.
