Final cut not updating render status
I am having problems with FCP 5.1.2 on a DP G5 2.3 and a Mac Pro 2.6 When you add a filter to a clip it does not show the change or go unrendered. If you slide the clip in the timeline and then slide it back into position it then updates the clip status and you see the effect of the filter on the clip. The caps lock is not engaged.

Seems a lot of folks are having issues with FCP not updating clips correctly with FCP 5.1.2 and the Mac Pro’s. You can read down below on several threads about this issue. Seems to be a bug with FCP and you should report it directly to Apple via their Feedback page. If enough people write in that gets Apple’s attention faster than via these forums.
