Final cut migration issue
Goo day professionals, my company is switching to final cut pro from premier so I am a brand new user. I have watched a lot of training DVDs but one thing baffles me. let me explain, I imported an mpeg file (720X480) and it imported fine, dragged it on the time line, hot the space bar and cold not see or hear anything but a beeping noise. I googled and realize that it had to be rendered. Can you guide me on how to go about this so that it plays without having to render all the time? Remember I am new to final cut pro go easy on me. Thanks in advance.
