Blackmagics website dots not say anything about FCE, so i think your will need to get FCP to use that card.
**Hindsight is always 1080p**

March 18, 2011 at 5:49 pmI don’t believe Final Cut Express supports any I/O cards. Firewire and file transfer only. You need to step up to FCP.
