    I have a question regarding final cut express and final cut pro 6. I know you can transfer sequences from FCE to FCP but once they have been transfered to FCP can they be transfered back to FCE?

    Nope. Final Cut has never been backwards compatible. Nor will, in most instances, FCE open any version of an FCP project.
