Final Cut Express round trip with Final Cut Pro?
I think this is the best place to ask this…
I’m helping out some students with a doc they’re cutting and I’ll probably take it into my Final Cut Pro to do some final tweaks.
BUT…is it possible to open the project again with Final Cut Express, or does FCP ‘upgrade’ it so it can’t go back?

I think you can go FCE to FCP but not the other way.
One thing you might do is just work on copies of the project and then if you have to go back to the original you can do that. I don’t think you can cut it in FCP and then hand it back to them to finiahs in FCE though.
