Final Cut Express and DVCPro-50
Hi.
I advised an associate of mine to purchase Final Cut Express in order to do the offline of a project that we shot in DVCPro-50. We’ll do the final edit in FC Pro. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a sequence setting for that codec. Under Unlimited RT it will play back, sort of, without rendering, but it’s drops a lot of frames. Is there something I’m missing or are there any work arounds for this? I hope there is.

FCE does not support DVCPRO 50 only DV25 and HDV.
