Final Cut Epxress/Pro Advanced cloning
ok so ive been using final cut express for alot of basic **** but im tryin to get into higher points into the program to do alot more neat things in HD. now from wative seen in order to do a basic cloning shot u just take a shot of you on one side of the room, and another shot of u on the other then crop the shot down the center and both of you are on the screen. real simple….but u cant cross eachother.
so wat i wann aknow is exactly wat the heck i gotta do to make multiple clone that can cross eachother, run by, or have on clone behind the other. without a piece of him disappearing because its just cropped…..so how to clone…without cropping simple…unless crop HAS to be involved…which iknow it dont… i hope

Try putting the original shot on the bottom layer, the second shot above it and play with the composite mode/add Should give you both shots at the same time and they will overlap each other without having to use a crop.
