Hey guys…I’m going to try to put this as simple as possible:

I’m close to PIX LOCK on a feature. Final Cut keeps crashing on me. I assume it’s because I have been combining everything into this one project up to this point–and the bigger the project file the more likely of a crash. (Side Note: My file size is 134MB)

I started a new project and brought over only my PIX LOCK timeline and a few other essentials (Music, Titles, etc). I have been trying to bring a massive bin of sequences/dailies into the new project but FC fails or stops responding every time.

I duplicated my project and tried to delete all the excess material, except for my essentials, and my project file is still the same size as before (in fact bigger). Is there anyway I can consolidate all that material into one project (ultimately to get a smaller project file) other than dragging between project folders in the interface?

I know that’s a mouthful but THANX A MIL if you can help.
