Final Cut Crashes with Backmagic HD Extreme
Hi – I am reposting this for someone else hoping someone here might be able to help – Thanks 🙂
G’Day,
First I had problems with the output on the TV monitor, which turned Black and white and then some audio problems (output)… so the obvious solution was uninstall the drivers and re-install the drivers… which I did….
Now- Final cut not working on black magic presets…works perfectly on DV Pal settings, and when the setting is changed to BackMagic 8 bit…there goes FCP, just Hangs!!!!
So, any idea how to handle this wonderful problem ???– truely

Hi Doug,
This is for Gautam, right? It’s likely a bad PCI slot from our initial investigations via email. However, we’re still working through some connection issues.
