We exported a DPX sequence from scratch and used AJA DPX TO QT TRANSLATOR to create a 10-bit quicktime.

It plays perfectly in FCP (6.0.6). We are viewing it from an Apple monitor as well as a Samsung HD TV that is connected to our AJA card.

One thing that is happening is when we hit play in FCP, the image becomes darker on the Apple monitor and the image becomes a lot lighter on the samsung monitor. When the video is stopped, the video looks as it should.

Not sure what is causing the gamma shift, but any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

make sure your AJA output is set to RGBA, not 8/10 bit.
