Final Cut Clips on a Premiere Pro Timeline
I’m having an odd problem.
A client shot some green screen DVCPROHD 720p material on their own, and sent us the Quicktimes to edit.
They acquired the clips on a FinalCut system (I don’t know the specifics on their end), put them on a hard drive, and sent them to us.
When I lay the clips in my Premiere Pro CS3 DVCPROHD 720p 59.94fps timeline, the video plays back twice the speed, and the audio is somehow split into two mono tracks, one of which is 1/2 the length of the other.
The audio plays at normal speed.
I tried to interpret the footage to 29.97fps thinking that was the problem, but the audio (which does play back normal), doesn’t match up.
Thoughts? I’m stumped on this one.
Here’s a screen grab of my timeline if it helps: https://bit.ly/YFVGB
If I play the Quicktimes in the Quicktime player, it reports the clips are 720p60, as seen here: https://bit.ly/icdTc
Thanks!
