final cut capture programme
Hi all…
I cant capture at all now in final Cut Pro 2! this has been like this for 2 months now
I can control my Sony Z1 camera and capture audio but i get no capture or footage in the window?
Tried it agin the other day and suddenly it worked then stopped after 30 secs of capture.
i have checked all the setting in the capture window both audio and video have been ticked.I can however capture using IMovie fine! Which does me now but its a pain and extends my workflow.
Im running on a Macpro high spec 8GB ram latest leopard update and QT
i have reinstalled FCP as defined by apple trashed prefs etc but still no joy!
My last idea is to back up and wipe the HD and reinstall everything!
But that will take ages! -

Yes, it will take ages (one day), but it will fix things. Do you want to take a day to get things working again, or keep going as you are with an incorrect workflow?
I opt for the lost day to get things working again.
