Final Cut capture and sequence settings?
Trying to determine the correct settings before I create a huge mess here. Selecting SEQUENCE setting DVCProHD 720p24 defaults to 960×720 frame size, but the DVCProHD 720p24 CAPTURE setting has a frame size of 1280×720. This doesn’t seem right. I’ve seen that several people are digitizing to FCP from the camera so I’m hoping for some real world experience.

Use the easy setups- it’s a little confusing because of how the footage is stored vs. how it’s played back. Trust me it all works perfectly if you stick with the presets.
