  Final Cut and XDCAM EX

  Apple today announced the availablity of FCP v.6.0.2 that incorporates support for XDCAM EX. To take advantage you need to upgrade to the newly announced update for the Tiger OS v.10.4.11 or if you have 10.5 Leopard. The Sony XDCAM EX Transfer software as well as the XDCAM EX plugin is still required for everything to work.
