FInal Cut 7 suddenly keeps putting in frames during edit of other parts
for some reason my final cut 7 has started putting in frames infront of my clips??
i’m cutting up various films i’ve worked on to create a show reel but even though i know i’m on the right frame, and even if i go further into the clip to be sure and the time line shows it fine when i play back my timeline when the next clip starts it will randomly put in a frame from the last clip that would have come before it in the film?
i’ve racked my brain and just have no explanation or way to fix this..
any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated as i’m at a loss.
i even uninstalled my copy of final cut stuido and reinstalled it hoping that would somehow fix the problem but it’s still doing it.

What is the codec of these various films? Did you convert them to editing codecs?
