Final composite does not output or render what I see on screen
I have a problem which I also posted on the FCP forum, sorry if I’m getting the same readers.
I have a four layer composite, to color correct a bg vs fg issue. Pulled a matte, added an extra adjustment layer below the matte with gaussian blur and line art to fill in the edges on the hair. It looks good on screen in FCP https://img186.imageshack.us/img186/9381/screencapturejr4.png
But even when I rendered it beforehand, the output of a QT export or still frame looks like this..

Is this an alpha bug with Quicktime? I have to be able to pull this color correction to make the scene work. Thanks! -

Well, just thought I’d update in case this happened to someone else. I dumped the project and opened a new one, imported the footage and repeated the same process and now it works. It seems like it was some sort of software/QT hangup, because I had checked all of my prefs and restarted a couple of times. I guess it’s a good thing that I tried the color correct before editing the whole piece.
