  • Final audio out of sync when using compressor

    Hi

When i compress i file in compressor from FCP the audio jumps out of sync when i look at it in DVD Studio Pro. I thought it might have been when i was doing a quick test with a faster compression however when i increased the quality it was still out of sync.

If there are any ideas on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Paul : )

Have you run DVDSP in simulation mode or are you playing it out of the DVDSP sequence? Have you tried doing a sample build and previewing prior to burn with DVD Player?

yeh i have tried it in simulation mode and the audio is out of sync when i look at it there too. The final product is also out of sync when played on a DVD player. I am not sure whether it is something i am doing in DVDSP or whether it is when i actually compress it that it is losing sync. When i export from FCP i run Compressor and just use the generic 60min High Quality Setting to compress it.
