Final AE export flickering?
Hi there,
I was doing a motion design piece with some high definition product stills in ae, my sequence settings was dv pal.
Quality is crucial since it is a product presentation kind of thing, but when I was exporting for final print to digibeta I noticed that in very detailed areas of animated occured some kind of rustle, or shall I say flickering deformation, which is very annoying and very not professional looking.
When I export final clips in ae I usually use best settings available, either loseless animation or 8bit uncompressed, occasionaly also PRO RES HQ, depending on the length of the piece I am working on.
But when doing high def material, no matter which setting I use I always bump into a same problem when doing print to digibeta (via sdi and kona3) using fcp (I also set fcp in 10bit yuv mode to get the best result before printing).
Does anyone have any idea, or experience to share. Basically how to avoid rustle in animating high def picture, before printing them on a high quality SD master in fcp.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
PS. Motion blur is turned on.
Best regards
