What do you use as a sharpening tool in post?

    Sharpen – easy to use
Unsharp mask – difficult but perhaps better

    TIA

Every shot, every codec, every subject is different. You need to use your eyeballs to decide what works best.

I had been using Lyric’s unsharpen mask plugin but I find that the sharpen tools in FX Factory give you greater control over what part of a shot or color channel you sharpen. Harder to drive perhaps but better control.
