    Hi:
I am starting editorial on a 30 minute film and have a few basic workflow questions. I’ll be cutting on a Media Composer Adreneline with DNxHD. I own a DBETA deck, and DVCPRO-HD.
Some new material will be shot 35mm, some(most) HDCAM, and some previously shot film, is already xfered to DBETA. Final output will be HD. So, assuming everything will be shot 24P,and assuming I will do an online edit out of house, I’m thinking of having all the film transfered to HDCAM and DBETA, and all the HDCAM downconverted to DBETA with matching TC.
Offline in SD from DBETA and online on a Smoke for output to HDCAM Master.

Does anyone have suggestions as to a better workflow? I’m trying to avoid renting a HDCAM deck for the new footage. Also, would it make any sense to convert the HDCAM and film to DVCPRO HD-so at least our offline will be High Def for screenings etc.

    Any thoughts will be appreciated.

yeah you could dub em with matching tc and then just use the real tapes for the online.
