November 18, 2013 at 12:16 pmFimConvert support sees no issues with the Log file I sent them. I tried with RED and Alexa files but Resolve crashes as soon as i switch to GPU in the FilmConvert plugin.
Is it possible for someone from Blackmagic to please have a look into this and try to determine what is causing the issue?
Many thanks!

November 20, 2013 at 12:04 pmi would guess it is due opencl.
what is your graphic card?
i have the same issue with a titan an osx 10.8.5, and there is no opencl support yet.
the effets that are based on cuda have no problem at atll.so unless we get support for opencl or filmconvert is providing gpu-rendering based
on cuda, a crash is quite normal. -

November 20, 2013 at 12:33 pmThanks, Andy, I do have a single Titan and i think you are right about OpenCL being the issue here. Its a bit strange that FilmConvert’s log has no problem with the Titan and recognises it as an OpenCL GPU.

November 20, 2013 at 12:39 pmwhat a fellow grading friend of mine has done, is deselcting the grain of the plugin,
and simply exported luts for the different film stocks!that way, speed is no issue anymore, and grain can be added in various ways on top of that!
just try!
